It was my best friend's birthday yesterday, so I took her out to eat at our fav Mexican place. The forecast looked good near me, so I though we'd just sit outside as per usual. About 2 hours in the lightening started and the torrential rain came right behind it. She's a little nuts, so she wanted to just sit and talk in the rain. I hate being in the rain, I wouldn't have done that for anyone but her. Once we were soaked to the bone, it wasn't so bad, but then she got cold. She walked to the restaurant so I pulled my car around and drove her home. Great conversation, I'll never forget the night and the setting. Why do women look even better when wet?
