Blackstrap mollases question

i mixed 1 tbs with 1 gallon of water, but after the third day it smells sour. is it supposed to or am i doing something wrong? any help?

Mix it with each watering. Molasses starts to smell very funny if it is left out.

Mix it in the water right before you give the plant water

You should be letting your water sit out for 1 day, not 3. The longer you leave the water sit the more it could become stagnant.

Leave water out for 24 hours, put in your tablespoon of molasses, mix up your water and feed immediately

No you don't have to use gallon of water, that's just a proportionate amount of molasses/water to use

If you watered with half a gallon of water, use half a tablespoon of molasses
