Black dot on leaf tops pixs

I have seen these dots multiply over the weeks but it seems to be spreading faster. The dots are found only on the tops of the leaves. The leaves also have an ashen cast to them. Its been flowering for about 8 weeks and some of the buds are changing from purple to tan. Over watering, to much bloom booster or could it just be ready to harvest. Take a quick look and give me some advise. Thanks

not sure what kind of bug you have..but its some kind of inscect thats causing the dots...cant do nothing in flower as far as pesticides..i say for a few days spray the plant with a hose or something that has med pressure..the tri's will be fine an it will blow alot of those bastards away

I thought wetting the leaves and buds was what caused mold to grow. I've been avoiding getting the plant wet like the plague.
What causes the ashen look.

Could the ashen color in the leaves be from the week of 100+ degree temps we've been having around here. We've had at least a week of 100+ degree days and 80 degree nights. I'm just worried that it won't be smokeable weed when its done. It could be ready to harvest now. I'm waiting for a 30X field lense to arrive in the mail, so I can see the tircs more clearly than I can with my 10X.

well as long as the hairs are 75-80%red then you can harvest but its all up to you...getting the plant doesn't cause mold...i mean it can under the right circumstances..but mold comes from a to humid room with not enough air flow with high heat....peace
