So heres my dilema i have these moth like bugs running around in my grow area seedlings are about a week old just now starting to get there second leaves my temp 85-87 which is imo high but im working on it, the grow set up is a bedside table its painted flat white i have 3 desk fans around the lights & 3 comp fans 2 in take one out up top and i have the other fans inbetween the lights on the floor blowing fresh air up and one facing the open door making a bigger exhaust, but door open temp is still 87, i have 490 actual watts in cfls i think i.might be over doing it in there should i split the lights in half and make 2 grow areas? Im planing on making some co2 for the box ive read the plants can tolerate more heat when co2 is mixed in the air, is this true? If it is i can have my setup up and running tomo. What can i do to get rid of these bugs? I try not to overwater i suspect these bugs to be fungus gnats also found a bigger black bug once but i killed it and never saw any other ones. Im thinking of using yellow sticky tape for flies ive read somewhere that the gnats are attracted to the sticky yellow tape idk, ive tried the method of using really sweet coffee and some dishsoap and nothing!! I left em there for a couple of days my girl actually had one fly into oneof her coffee mugs she left on the dresser and i got none :/ the most i do to rid of them is try to water wayyyyyyyy less which is a problem cause of temps running high, anyways umm lets see my soil is scotts moisture control advantage it has nutes so i try to flush the crap out of the soil before using it pics are not possible right now but picture a seedling first two leaves and second 2 leaves popping out now any help is appreciated keep in mind they are a week or so old i feel they are small.
