Birth control

Alright this might seem a little far-fetched but a friend of mine said he used some of his girlfriends birth control pills to introduce some estrogen to the plant. Correct me if I am wrong most female organisms produce traces of estrogen in their bodies, would giving my plant slight doses of birth control (talking about a couple scratches off the pill) have any positive or negatives side effects?

Ie. Better yield / Better veg stage / More growth / Less stress

Let me know your thoughts because they are greatly appreciated.

I have a book that says that it works. Never tried it myself he claims it makes them taste better and produce more females.
