I am sorry left or right this is just funny. Not presidential at all but really funny. I mean he let them all pack for a 7 day trip bring their luggage to work load it on a bus and drive away. Only then did he cancel the trip.

On another note though left or right they should not be leaving for 7 days when the government is closed. Last week they went to party in Puerto Rico. Our government is completely broken.

It is shutdown because of a terribly flawed system full of rich babies who dont actually care about the people they represent. Just their own egos and power.

Last time I checked Puerto Rico does not pay federal income tax and hence should not be entitled to tax dollars. Sorry but the optics are just horrible. But watching them all get off the bus this afternoon with their sad faces was quite entertaining.

seems like federal taxes on your income as outlined by the federal insurance contributions act counts as federal income tax

repubs in the senate have not voted once on any of them. bitch mcconnell refuses to even vote on the thing that they passed unanimously right before the shutdown.
