big leafs from seeds...need advise

just finished my first grow useing cuttings..... the grow was a sucsess and i was high off my crop...
im now on my 2nd grow and have decided to grow from seeds....
im now in the first week of flowering..the qusetion i need answerin is about the fan leafs..
the fan leafs on my plants are massive they allmost cover all the lower plant,not letting alot of light to the bud spots below
will the bud spots rise above the fan leaves and find there way to the light or is there somthin i have to do

any advise will be great

i actually just cut some of my fan leaves off..i wud wait atleast a month before trimming. but if its still blocking flwoering site id trim it up
