Word up!
I've had a lot of good luck with freebies this year. I got 3 Ethos Genetics Big Detroit Energy fems from therealcanadaseeds.com and am taking them down tomorrow.. Haven't smoked it yet but am super pleased with the results at this point.
Big Detroit Energy is a cross of Lilac Diesel x Mandarin Sunset
Plants grew vigorously from seed thru veg without any deficiencies or set backs. I ran the full line of Remo nutrients along with Microbial mass.. They can handle the food but always check the ppms of your runoff of course.. Strains react differently to different environments. They were grown along with a plethora of other strains in veg both from seed and clone in a 5x9 Gorilla tent with 3 315w cmh lights. My system up to this point has been to take cuts of each plant going into flower minus anything I've decided to remove from the lineup. Any plants that are removed are then replaced by either 1 fem seed or 2 reg seeds of a new strain. I find that if I germinate the same day I cut clones the plants will grow "somewhat" at the same rate.. Lol... Its not perfect but this allows me to consistently do small pheno hunts.. I'll then veg in my 5x9 with seedlings and clones until the plants the clones came off of are finished flowering... The tent gets pretty packed but with a lot of pruning I can keep it in check. I then have large plants I can immediately move into my flower room and flip... I get almost 6 crops a year this way but I'm switching it up to a different method that yields more on the next grow...more about that later....

-12 SunSystem 315w cmh lights
- 1 600 watt hps hanging from underneath the air handler
-1 2 tonne AC
-2 70 pint Anden dehus
-4 20" oscillating air movement fans
- 1 Titan co2 controller and regulator
-1 4" exaust fan and filtered 4" intake to exaust out co2 at night only.. Doesn't run during the day..
I grow in coco on rolling saucers on the floor.
The Big Detroit Energy's were flipped at 3 ft and doubled in size finishing their stretch at 6 ft.
Plants have an intense zesty/hazy/lemony tropical fruit smell with a hint of diesel.
They are getting cropped tomorrow at 9 weeks and the plants are absolutely frosted to fuck with swollen milky triches, huge buds and great color. I'll post the weights in a couple weeks but they are looking like half pounders.. Can't wait to smoke this shit
