I've found single pass columns to be more efficient under one inch of ID, but there is no question that the Honey Bee works. For a small column, consider a Bed, Breakfast, and Beyond stainless turkey baster at $7.99 or picking up a smaller diameter borosilicate tube.

its all I ever used, and knew existed until I came online and really look it up.

I got the smaller one and used it for 5 years, it works great. you can put about 30 grams of finely chopped up bud in the small one and 2 or cans of butane and I can get 7 g of oil.

I recently bought the bigger one which I dont really like that much. almost too big for me, and the back pressure it built up was crazy. I put 100 grams and 10 cans (too much butane) and got 20 grams of oil outta that one.

so yeah, I would say they work pretty damn good.

now how they compare to a long skinny glass/SS one is a different story.

this works perfectly for smaller more precious extractions.. if i had less than 2 oz of material to work with, i would use the BB&B turkey baster, cheap, and already ready to use, all you need is a filter and butane..

you get a really efficient run with the turkey baster as well..

yeah I got the vector x5 refine, headshop was trying to push a 7x refined but idk what it name was. just went with vector since that's what I have been reading. and got the turkey baster with 2 coffee filters and a clamp. did that then let all the butane vape out, whipped in dish then I spread it thinly on the pyrex sat out for a day or two then put in the fridge and scraped and it turned back to what it looked like before.. after like 2 hours. when I go to dab it it just bubbles so I messed up somewhere. its good on bowls and stuff. but hard to dab
