Best way to harvest?

So this is my second year growing and i need a new method to harvest. Last year i took the simple route and just used a box to hang my nugs. Ive heard different lengths of time to dry them, last year i kept them in there for a week and checked them every day, but by the 7th day they were crunchy. Any advise will help. thanks.

I see nothing wrong with your present method. You could maybe build a bud dryer, which will speed up the process by at least a couple of days. I think mine were ready to jar after five days last harvest.

dry for a shorter time wit a fan blowing..

cut all fanleaves/budleaves before hanging to dry. keep fan blowin like DGK said, flush plant 2 weeks prior to harvest date, but let her dry out 5 days or so before cutting. buds are ready to be cured when branches they're on snap crisply like an old dead stick.... good luck.
