I read to clip the plant and hang to dry but I also was told to snap the stalk but not all the way so it pumps the remaining life Into the buds, is that actually a thing ? Lmk your thoughts

That sounds more like a cure for hiccups.
Pretty simple.
- Cut the plant from the trunk
- Gently hang the plant - whole
- Remove any remaining large fan leaves
- Hang upside down for 5 - 7 days.
- The smaller branches will feel a little brittle when it's dry enough for final trim
- Final trim of all of the remaining fan/sugar leaves.
- Snip the buds into jars for the cure.
- Cure for 6 - 8 weeks.
im starting to dk better but patience is definitely key. i usually put in the darm for at least 24hrs, clip all the big fan leaves and hang. i been trying to get better about the next step and let it hang and when ready trim and cure. helps to get it trimmed when the stems begin to snap i like a little early and dry oout a bit before putting in a jar with a 62% humidity control pack. this last harvest it wasnt big but the smell is getting better as well as flavor
