red=positive, black = negative. I'm using 12V 1A Switching Power Supply CCTV for camera etc - eBay (item 200240901835 end time Jul-28-08 18:00:19 PDT) on my fans

i'm sure there is something you could do for ducting. like if you need 6" ducting get a 6" can for like beans or sauerkraut or something and cut the size of the fan out of the bottom and bolt it onto the fan so you have a 6" pipe comming off it. or check out home depot and see what they have in terms of ducting

(oh and thx for reminding me i need to pay foir an ebay item hehe)

i use a pc power supply for my 4" inline fan and for intake/ exhaust pc fans. you can pick one up for like 10 or 15 bux anywhere...it also makes it so if you have more than one pc fan, they wont lose power from being in sequence...i love it

edit: my power supply is a 550 watt atx. if you have an older powersupply (AT), you just wire it up and turn it on. if you have a newer supply (ATX) you have to grab the largest cable bundle, and stick a bent paperclip from the green wire to any of the black wires. (this is done to bypass the "need" for a motherboard). then just wire your fans and turn it on.
