Best way to control height for a plant thats vegged 8 weeks?

Well I have a plant that I'm about to flower, but I'm worried that when it flowers it's gonna get too tall.

Most methods I have seen for height control seem to apply to a lot younger plants and I'm not sure they will work on my 8 week plant.

Would it be possible at 8 weeks to supercrop it? or top it? What else could I do?

how tall is it? and how high can you let it grow to? topping is probably the way to go, but need to no more first. and what light are you using?

just keep in mind indicas can double at flower stretch and sativa ca triple in height

you can supercrop if you have to anytime as much as you need

The way I beat the height problem(I never have one anyway, I keep 360 watts of flouresent cool white going all the time supplemented by a 400w mercury vapor when necsesary) because I put my clones right in 12/12 as soon as they're rooted. They grow between 2-4 feet tall in the op over 6-8 weeks. My vegging is already done because my moms from where I take my snips are always already over one year old.

get those long metal cylinder poles you see on baby trees. and very lightly tie a string to it. you need to readjust as nodes near it
