I have an outdoors grow and i mainly rely on when it rains to have my plants watered (or i use my spray bottle). I have heard this is the best type of water to use but it has been dry lately, would anyone recommend using water brands such as pure life or any others because is there any chance minerals or any special stuff in those waters could temp damage your plants ?

For one patch I use nasty stinky smelly swamp water. Took some home to test it and it has less PPM than my tap water with a perfect 7 for ph. Go figure. The girls love it.

I just go to the reverse osmosis filtered water refill station at the grocery store, 35 cents a gallon.

Do you have a rain barrel? I cut the top off a plastic barrell . WIch you can get from your local car wash for free. Clean it out with bleach water then rinse thoroughly. There is a nice way to modify these with spickets I just put lid back on upside down from where I cut it off works great doesnt cost me a penny for water and doesnt have the chlorine you get from tap water. If you like watering your plants with rain water I would get a barrell to collect it if you already dont have one.
