There is a wide range of opinions on this question. If you're growing outdoor and don't live in a humid environment then probably never is the best time to trim fan leaves and defoliate.
I don't grow indoors, so someone else could answer your question much more accurately if you are growing indoor.

Just a little bit any time. I recently realized its good for vegging too. The smaller/dimmer the space the more you have to.

I just got done plucking several leafs with hash on it in my 2x2’s partly also the main stem got too tall. Vegged too long its why perpetual want to get things on a dime asap.

Im taking down my 2x2’s the bigger tents dont need much plucking even with said conditions. Was getting to know a strain, im on my 3rd run with it going on 4 soon.

If its a new strain Ill need a couple runs to get an ifea of how it grows.

Im not worried about nanners sacs from it, only worried about increasing quality buds and finishing on time. Very important for perpetual.
