Best suitable light for closet

So I have a closet that is about 5 ft by 5 give or take. I was looking into the 400 watt and 600 HPS and MH lightings.

I looked at the guide but I wanted someones advice, in regards to heat issue and so forth

I would like to have to 3 areas setup in the closet one for clones using flor lighting, one for veg growth, and one for flowering stage.

More then likely I will have 3 light setups al together. I will be running the ebb n flow system and will focuse on using small plants versus tall plants. With that being said what do you recommend? I do not want it t get t hot in the closet. I notice ebay had a good selection

However I notice that all the kits the prices are around about the same. So that is why I wanted your opinion. I was thinking maybe a 600 W for vegative and 400 for flowering?

if your doing a thing like that i would suggest looking into cfl's for the cloning and veg stages and then you could get a 250w hps setup for flowering. id say get 4-8 25w cfl's for your veg room and 3-6 for your clone room. they also have 40w cfl's if you can find them. also try to alternate between soft white and cool white when buying the cfl bulbs.

why stick with cfl? I heard that mh and hps light during both stages gives the best results. That true? I would think so?

Anyways I was in the shower and I was thinking what if, instead of doing sea of green method. Purchase a 250w mh and 250 hps w light set up with ballast and reflector and just do grow my first patch ( using cfl for seedlings of course) that way I do not need a separate room for flowering.

That way the plants will get all the light they need and then when I harvest, I will have my personall stash and the rest will go towards the cost of set up and future expansion.

I figured this would be may best betd , because come feb, we have house inspection ( yea im in sectiojn 8 housing) and I dont want to do to much moving around of my plants or set up. So i figured if I just do one crop harvest of at least 6 plants of the big bud strain I should be good to go.

Over here in the Dallas Metroplex not to many exotic strains floating around like in cali. So I figured getting rid of majority of my harvest should be simple. My main goal isnt t supply, but rather for my own personal. However I figured first crp i can sell to get some money back.

my only concern about running this set up is if I wanted to do clones I would def need another area set up for that. Besides more then likely I be better off with another strain besides the bid bud. I only bought it because of its high yields and easy for beginners

I think anyone growing in a closet with an HID, you need a air cooled hood ducted to outside the room/closet. Buy a cheap $120 400 light isnt gonna be a good thing. You will probably toss the reflector in a little bit anyways adn get the air cooled hood.

Veggin under floro/CFLs? sure.

Best light for a closet hands down is the cooltube.

It looks like to me that, well the pic you have that pretty much the heat emited from the light is air cooled instantly. I like the idea sounds cool.

Question? How much of a difference would I see if I ran both MH and HPS during both stages of growth? If there be a big difference I probably get two 400 w cool tube set up rigs. If just a slight difference I might get a 1000w cool tube set up.
I figure 1000w and those plants would go crazy for the light right? better results then a 400 w set up.

I have exactly what u see in that auction, and the seller, HTG Supply is where I get all my stuff, I highly recommend them. My wattage of choice is the 600w system. Its better than 400w and more efficient than 1000w. Get two 600's if you need 2 lights.
