Best stores to buy CFLs?

Hey guys, I need to pick up 6500k cfls for vegging and i'm on a really tight budget. Were should i go to find the cheapest CFL's? I went to walmart and I wasn't about to spend 10 bucks on 2 26watt cfls haha.

fleet farm has 6 26w 6500k for like 10 bucks here last time i picked some up, so you could try there.

A store thats a mix between wal mart type store and a hardware type store, geared/dedicated more towards the hardware angle compared to like wal mart and those types.

Waltmart has good deals for 43 watters and lowes has good deals for the big ones that i use $14

lowes has them I think 4 or 6 23 watters for $10. I like lowes CFL's better then home depot, just some stupid OCD about the labeling.

Lowes seems like a good choice. I mean they have gauranteed low prices! how can you go wrong with that!? thanks guys

You could try your local 99 cents or less store. Some of them have a good stock of cfl bulbs anywhere's between $2.00-$4.00 a bulb.

Save big money at Menards. Great CFL selection, too.

CFLs at the DOLLAR store are not 2-3 bucks LOL

yo go to the home depot and buy them. i bought a 2 pack of 100 watt daylight cfls for only 5.99. i bought 4 packs for under 30 bucks total. wal mart doesn't have anything good really for cheap. lowes sells one 150 watt daylight cfl for about 5 bucks.

and the box is the color of the spectrum the bulb is. orange white and blue

i use those myself, 5500k cfl's, excellent for veg

on amazon you can get 125 watt 6500k for around 30 bucks

I bought a 12 pack of 32w CFLs for $24.72 or $2.06 a bulb. They're equal to 130w std. bulbs and they were 2700k temp. The best deal I could get on the daylight lamps was a case (12) 23w bulbs for $26.52 per case or $2.21 a bulb.

I bought a few bulbs from Home Depot too, I snagged a good deal on a rather large 68w 2700K CFL, rated like a 300w bulb and about 5k lumens.

Good stuff guys! keep this info flowin' I'm sure lots of others besides me will benefit from this. I mean who wants to pay more than they need to on bulbs?

Hahaha, I don't think I'm gonna do this, just somethin' I thought about (I'm pretty high right about now)... How about running around stealing bulbs from peoples outdoor lights! Think about it! It's the funniest!
