Hi all.. I am moving to another location soon and need some ideas on how i need to setup the basement.
Its pretty much a car garage but it isnt being used.
I kinda want to make two seperate boxes/space in the basement for CFL vegging/mother plants and 400 watt hps flowering.
Planning to grow 4~6 plants per flowering cycle but going to try to get them big and will be planted in 5 gallon pots. Will be soil grow. I cant use the whole basement since my girl needs to do laundry and stuff so i wanted to use part of the space to grow. Doesnt have to be stealth. But prefer to be concealed if needed.
Now my question is i wanted two spaces/box that is concealed if i wanted it to be. Doesnt need to be clean or neat just wanted no light leaks at all as well as reflect well.
Im planning to use 2x4's for framing and thin plywood and make maybe one 3x3x6 foot boxe for flowering and 2x2x6 for vegging and leave them next to each other...
Now my question is Ill probably block off all sides with the plywood and one side ill probably use a tarp or black garbage bag as a "door". What kinda venting do i need in this boxes each... I have two of those bathroom fans and few regular circulation fans. Please let me know what the best idea and method or what you would do in this space.
I am thinking the bathroom fans on top of each box to exhaust hot air and make another hole towards the bottom of the box and add few pc fans to intake cold air from the garage to the box. And have a circulating small fan iside the box.
Would this be good enough for the boxes?
Also if you had a garage and didnt have money for tents how would you set it up needing two chambers. One for flowering and one for vegging.
