Best Seed Company That Breed White Widow

Hello everyone, I wanted to grow some White Widow on my next grow and i was wondering what company makes the best white widow? There are alot of companies that make it so im not sure what to get. I dont wanna waste money on either crappy genetics, or mooshy seeds. Thanks in advance to neone that can help.

As I hear, Shantibaba developed "White Widow" while he was with Greenhouse Seed Company. When he left, he took the original parents with him, but Greenhouse Seeds still held legal rights to the name "White Widow". So while he had the actual plants, he was legally prohibited to use the name. They (Greenhouse Seeds) had legal rights to the name, but no plants. So they reconstructed the variety as best they could, and that is the "White Widow" you see for sale today.
The original "White Widow" genetics are now sold by Mr. Nice and Shantibaba as "Black Widow".


Dutch passion has a strong WW, Nirvana also offers the Black widow .. best way it to research and analyze a bunch of grows, and pick one from there ..

If you want the original Widow then you need Black Widow from Mr. Nice. If I start a Widow from scratch I will probably check it out. I've only grown Widow from Ministry of Cannabis (MOC). All of their seeds germinated and are fast growers. The high is amazing. I mentioned in another thread that I had one plant turn hermie on me, but that could have been due to environmental conditions.

I have been growing Dutch Passion's White widow for about 2 years now and it is quite something. It can be a little needy, but well worth the extra attention it requires.

A most infamous strain that since 1994 has won a number of awards, including the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1995, and has acquired acclaim from most corners of the globe - rightly so. It has a pedigree of parentage that combines a Brazilian Sativa with a South Indian hybrid. Basically, it is the original parents of White Widow changing its colors like its company. Indoors 10 weeks of flowering will be necessary to realize the immense resin production. In the northern hemisphere expect harvest around September/October, having planted as late as June. However, there is a chance that rain could reduce the expected yield. A highly recommended strain for amateur breeders - the male being preferable.

i busted two seeds one a boy one agirl i then grew out the boy and dusted two lower branches of the girl
in week four of flower and week one of polenation

it looks good so far a single cola plant next grow i might top it see what happens

a close friend of mine ran ghs ww for 10 years with great results. i put an order in from attitude last year and got a g13 labs freebie ww and this ww has outshined any widow we've seen including my boys ghs. i feel i got extremely lucky with getting this mom from one bean, but if i got a keeper from 1 bean, you should def get a kepper in full pack. the girl im working with is sweet rather the the classic spicet widow. we're actually calling it the "fruity pebbles" pheno. she finishes at full in 56 days and is coated in triches.

then again, you can never go wrong with any of shanti's and mr nice's stuff, but the g13 labs ww is def worth a look.

there is no such thing as to who hold the legal rights, the only reason shantibaba named the original white widow to black widow is just to respect GHS. that is a fact that i have read in hightimes, as breeding marijuana is still not accepted in terms of copyrights or whatever legal reasons! and for sure that other breeders just bought a seed from mr nice for creating there own knock-off white widow and for all we know they could have added a few breed in there and still call it white widow. all in all doesnt matter if other breeders white widow is better than mr nice's black widow, truth the matter is if you have the original white widow (black widow) then i could personally say that you my friend have a white widow. and thats incomparable. its like comparing 2 vintage cars of the same model the 1st one was in mint condition all original and the other one was customize, new leather seats, air-conditioned, sub-woofers, lambo doors, entertainment set-ups you name it. if you are really looking for the original go with the vintage mr nice
