right now I am using flora nova grow, bloom, floralicious, and florablend, and will be using liquid koolbloom for the vegetative stage. Oh I will be using the flora bloom for the vegetative stage as well, obviously. Are these good nutrients for El Nino and if you have an opion on a better nutrients and supplements, what are they and why?:joint:

its all npk you know. some brands just like to charge extra haha.
-nitrogen = (saltiest nute) foliage growth
-phosphorus = roots growth and promotes the change from veg to flowering
-potassium = (most essential least salty) fruit growth, water intake/regulation, disease resistance

a balanced npk can be used through the whole grow, but for the best results use something that has more K. heres an example why; orange trees with low K produce golf ball sized fruit, but with high K it produces grapefruit size fruit!

Do you have a reference for your statements about potassium? I've used fertilizers with more emphasis on potassium than phosphorus and the results were smaller yields.

Here is my reference: http://www.extension.umn.edu/distribution/cropsystems/dc6794.html
Role in Plant Growth

The exact function of K in plant growth has not been clearly defined. Potassium is associated with movement of water, nutrients, and carbohydrates in plant tissue. If K is deficient or not supplied in adequate amounts, growth is stunted and yields are reduced. Various research efforts have shown that potassium

  • stimulates early growth,
  • increases protein production,
  • improves the efficiency of water use,
  • is vital for stand persistence, longevity, and winter hardiness of alfalfa, and
  • improves resistance to diseases and insects.

im not even going to read any further than the first page iv read a ton of bs already there is no best nutrient to be honest theres just better growers....

i use and have used floranova grow and just hi brix mollasas and dutchmaster silica for my mothers and never had better results from AN or GH's 3 part's. never saw even the slightest defecicny when using just the one part flora nova and molasses. if youve got flora nova just use that and dont waste your money on AN line... floranova has everything your plants need

Unless every fertilizer formula is identical to one another, one will always be able to rank fertilizers from best to worst. Grower skill makes an enormous difference though and until someone is dialed in with a few years of experience, I don't know that one would be able to tell the difference between 'best' and 'average'.

I'm doing my first AN grow and the plants are monsters and only 4 weeks old. I am very satisfied so far. I am running grow, micro, bloom, voodoo juice, and flowering with kushie kush and bud candy added to the mix.

I've grown with Dutch Master Gold, AN Conny, GH Nova, Hydro Fuel and I always got the same yields while using the same strains. If you can control the room environment and adjust it as needed for each stage that will make the biggest difference. Also learning to grow your favorite strain will let you really dial things in.
