I read a technique that say that is the best growing technique for fast harvest and big buds

from germinate 3 weeks continue light
then
36 hours no light at all
then
11 hours on / 13 hours off to the end and harvest

Does anyone have try this and what are the results?

how many grows you got under your belt? the fastest flower time with the biggest buds is 12/12 or 11/13. 36 hours no light is just going to stress them probably will put them in flower but the max hours of darkness should only be 16 hours most plants would hermie if left in the dark that long then flowered. there is no assured quick plan or set in stone style so to speak

same here 18/6 250w halide veg. flower is 12/12 declining over a week to 11/13 then back to 12/12 400hps and 400halide comes on for 4 hours a day in flower as if it was noon

I'm growing, my grow is in my signature https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-fluorescent-lighting/504127-old-fashion-new-grower.html#post6956461, but I read this for 36 hours dark later from when I had already start the 11/13 flowering cycle and I didn't try it. I read it in a forum written not in english but in english this trick called "Flowering Jumpstart". I google it and I found this in english http://www.420magazine.com/forums/budding-cycle/148790-36-hours-darkness-jump-start-flower-cycle.html

Also as I translate it say that the 36 hours dark do "Internodal Stretching" to the plants and is an experiment try.

Also I found now this for Flowering Jumpstart that explain better http://books.google.com/books?id=fERzFsZhdxYC&pg=PA174&lpg=PA174&dq=Flowering+Jumpstart&source=bl&ots=t1PxgvLDTn&sig=xiw2yT7ppS5u3CkR4dN8E4RymI8&hl=en&sa=X&ei=TywYT73XCKTKiAKToIzRCA&ved=0CEIQ6AEwBA#v=onepage&q=Flowering Jumpstart&f=false

12 on 5.5 off 1 on 5.5 off 12 on for vegetation
11 on 13 off decreasing on by 30 minutes every two weeks until reaching 9 hours on for flowering

finishing is supposed to be quicker for flowering plants. i'm not sure yet as this is the first time i'm using it. BUT what i did notice, sexing time was cut down to just 4 days after switching to 11-13. if it's not a better lighting schedule, its definitely no worse and i save money on electricity.
