Best light for my 7x7 tent?

Hi, I’m just about to buy myself a 7x7x6 tent
And just want to know what is the best light I should get for it

I heard LED is the way to go but have also been hearing a lot cmh lately no an not to sure on which to use? This will be my first grow so just want to make sure I make the right choices first time around

I run nothing but led anymore. I love leds but I’ve seen good things on cmh it’s all preference just imo stay away from the cheap leds

gonna need more than that. if you are talking about an off the shelf LED rated at 600, its only gonna put out about 2-300w.

if you are mechanically inclined that are a million DIY threads here with boards, strips and/or COBS.
 
7x7 is going to take a lot of light regardless of what type you go with. When I ran HPS I always had a 1000w every 4x4 or so. So if I were to run a 7x7 (and assuming I had good airflow and ac) I'd probably run 2 1000w side by side, or if I really wanted to pack the light in I'd do something like this...20180120_104158.jpg

If you're going LED, 2 or 3 HLG 550s would probably do that space nicely.

I’m getting two like I said, I want to try the qb train and see how they run. I’ve seen so many good things plus I love my cob lights
 
Honestly I'd just throw 2 x 600w hps in there. I mean if you got your stuff up to snuff then you'd pull a bit over 2 lbs, close to 3 lbs per harvest easy. And as far as quality of weed, I think you'll do fine.
