Best light for a small space: 4x4x4?

A 150 HPS with in a 4x4x4 space just does not quite cut it using the SCROG technique. How large could I go? I was thinking at least 250 HPS. Do you think 400 HPS would run to HOT?

I have a 400 watt HPS/MH Conversion Lamp in a 4x3x5 space and it stays around 82 with 2 fans inside and the door open

400 is the way to go for that size, and about 6 plants...

Every space is different, have you tried to bring the light in any closer ? Loks like you could come down 8 inches at least ...

is a cool tube an option money wise? if so go 400w for sure, a 400 in a small space like that if vented should produce some good shit
