Best LED light shipped for under $500...

Making an LED purchase today;

Pretty sure I'm going to get a PG260

The Haight PPF800 is too expensive... :\

Kind of crossed the Kessil H350 off my list, I don't think it's got the coverage I'm looking for (or can get out of the PG260, please tell me if I'm wrong)

Disappointed the Advanced LED's are so expensive for so little wattage, it's just not in the cards right now, I'd be looking @ $500 for the DS200 (185 watt draw)

It's going in a tent 4x2 feet... so 8 square feet.

I'd like to hear arguments and evidence for which light you'd choose, that I can get shipped (to Canada) for <$500.

I got the 180 actually, and a bunch of seeds. Going to hold out for a while of a bigger light, see what happens.

I'll run the PG180 and the Blackstar 180 in the tent, and use the 100w UFO I have for seedlings. Going to be getting another tent shortly.

BS500w. Call up gotham hydro and they might give you a discount and some free shipping. Also, it pulls a nice 300w and I personally like it for my 3x3.5.

female seeds c99 is a knockoff but a great value strain if you dont care about that kinda thing or the unethical dutch ( nirvana , ghs , female seeds they share the same breeders) you wont get much sympathy if they hermie or aint stable

easy ryder is good but auto assassin an Mi5 are better

155 watts of Pro-Grow and 110-115watts of Blackstar is more than enough for the tent I'm going to be using for this specific grow.

All of Barneys seeds are hermie prone. I wouldnt grow them if you gave em to me.

I haven't seen any problems with other people's BF grows.... ? Not saying there's no merit to what you say, but I've seen more than a couple successful grows with BF seeds with no hermies....

You've had troubles with every kind of BF seeds you've gotten?

I am not saying every seed will hermie. I am saying that Barneys are prone to hermie and it is far more likely than with a qulity breeder. I personally like GHS where as a lot of people do not. It is a matter of prference but I have read many articles about BF seeds being more of a cookie cutter seed rather than a high quality seed produced with the grower in mind.

My last seeds came from BC Bud Depot, seed quality looked amazing; really dark seeds with black swirls. All of them germinated within 6-8 hours of putting them in water.

I really hope my BF seeds don't hermie out, I really like the strains I'm getting; well, never actually tried 8 ball kush, it just looked awesome!

how far did you keep your 2 blackstars from your plants? your plants seem to be too tall for only 2 small LEDs but your main colas arent that impressive either.... bummer! The plants with the 1000W are growing under the same feeding shedule, conditions, etc. ?
