Best kind of fluorescent lights

I am interested in growing and I think I want to use fluorescents. What type of lamp should I look for.

if u want to spend money go for some of the new t5 s from htg or somethin, but if ur lookin for an economy grow get some 4 foot shop lights for home depot. CFLs are good but they more used for spot lighting, id say go fo tubes

i am going with flor tubes and one cfl and it is working out good so far got all of the stuff at wal mart for less than 50$

im a newbe grower and i got 2 plants that been growing about 1 month i put them on 12/12 cycle of light how long before i see a change

I have been reading alot on CFL. They seem to be great. i went out today to get some spent about $40 and got about 8 blubs. they cost ALOT less to run then a hps or MH. PUT U WILL NEED ALOT OF THEM TO FLOWER.
