Looking for all things cheap, cheerful and even most importantly...local! Ordering stuff from the US is a bloody nightmare. It takes weeks, costs a fortune and when it final arrives we have to pay fucking import duty on it!!! :wall:

I found an ebay shop that seem to have some nice deals. I'm a total novice at all this so if anyone has any good links to cheap bits and pieces then post away!

Do you guys know where I can get a Y splitter lighting socket? it looks like this. I don't need them to go directly into a socket like the one pictured, just the fitting.

They seem to pretty common place in the US but I can't find them anywhere on this side of the globe.

Thorns sell 30W 6500k cfls at about 5.99 each , however i have only been able to find 24W 2500k's for flowering, hopefully they will do

from my research Y splitter are unavailible in the uk, I currently use 2x pro light 30W 6500k for vegging seems to be working ok, if i were you go with higher wattage fewer bulbs saves plug sockets

Local DIY store thorns ( http://www.toolbank.com/437/p/C10024/ISO27108 ) strange thing is the bulb i bought is prolite helix daylight-energy saver 30W equivelint to 150 only set me back 6.99 got the package right next to me, however they dont appear to be on the site ( the site itself in my opinion is tacky and unproffessional ) ive done a quick search for the bulb and found it on http://www.prolite-lamps.co.uk/products/fluorescent_lamps/compact_fluorescents/helix_daylite.htm wich looks like a descent and reliable source.
