Thanks in advance for help...
Growing aeroponics, grow room is 30"d, 48"w, 60"h.
I run one 400 hps
Changed to flower 6 days ago. Plants are now 39" tall.
Running out of vertical space. Tops are 4" from hps fixture.
The question is regarding bending. I want to do this right. (these seeds were from Holland and, are doing GREAT!)
Please advise with your thoughts.
Best to the group!

This is on LST, helpful in limited vert space:
Alright, well first I'm not taking credit for LST or anything this is just my way for doing another version of LST. For those who don't know LST stand for Low Stress Training, the purpose of this method is to promote lower growth, maximize branching and evenly distribute light to create multiple large cola's rather than just a single cola. It is also very helpful for those growing in confined spaces or just like a nice bushy plant.

Theory
The Idea behind this method of growing is to use string or twine to spread the banches out allowing light to reach the inner and lower branches of the plant, in my method I do this as a gradual process to eliminate the chances of breaking a stem or anything of that nature. There are many other ways to achieve the same effect but most cause the plant a great deal of stress where as with my method the plant usually recovers in 12-24 hours rather than days.

How-To Procedure and Example
Depending on you comfort level with the plants you can begin when your plant is at it's 4th node otherwise I recommend around the 6th node, at this point your plant is around 5"-8" inches tall with side and lower branches developing. At this time It is time to begin the first step:

Step 1: The first stage is to create a 90 degree bend in the main stalk, this allows even flow
of water, sugar and energy to multiple branches.

Step 2: The second stage is to keep new growth parallel to the soil whenever possible to
promote axial growth and keep branch growth rates even.

Step 3: The third stage deals with the "hooking effect" which allows for easier tying and
better flow (assisted by gravity) to each branch.

Step 4: The forth stage is about weaving the branches and how u can continue using steps
2 and 3 to create a "bush" until you are ready to flower.

The following is supercropping:

exactly what he said, i bend mine all the time with fishing string , it starts pointing up in like 2 hrs, and keeps on growing

Click the link in my signature to check out my grow journal for some cool before and after pictures of LST. I have been using pipe cleaners to LST with great success. Keep in mind I have germinated 2 seeds in my life lol, this is all new to me. I can tell you that 10 days after you start LST your plants will easily be 3-4 times bigger. They grow crazy fast when you give the side branches the light they need.:leaf:

Since your plants are already established, I'd think supercropping would be a better technique than LST. I'm just a well educated n00b, though, so other opinions are probably going to be better than mine. :)

Thanks everyone. Never having heard of "super-cropping" but it has gained my interest after seeing the video.
My only concern is: My girls are doing so well and are so beautiful. I worry about "hurting" them.
I'm sure you understand, I've cared for them daily... they are like my children.
Any additional thoughts? (I have taken 3 clones... last weekend)
