Before i go about starting this...

first time grower here, but been around alot of ops. this is my first post so...hello world :p

i've got:
-a 4'x8' flower room with a 600watt blackstar lighthouse hydro LED light using 2watt led's, an inline fan(435cfm)/6"carbon filter and oscillating fan inside
-Quantum t5 badboy 4' 4 light flourescent light for vegging in a 2x4' veg area thats been tarped off
-<25ppm water

i want to get clones first, but eventually start growing from seed as well, but thats another story.

The soil i want to use is Roots Organics 707, along with Advanced Nutrients a and b solution or iguana juice and/or sensi bloom, with jackhammer when i start flowering, my first question is should i use the A solution in the roots organic, or should i just go with fox farms HF and eventually add nutes when i flower.

OR should i go with some other line like BMO or Canna-which im also leaning towards, but i havent seen the cost

Seriously?
Well, i went with:
Pictures soon to come

I'm flowering in a 4x8' mylar lined grown tent with a 345cfm 6"inline fan and 6"carbon filter for odors and an oscillating fan inside for circulation.
The light i'm using is a Lighthouse Hydro Blackstar 600w 3-band LED using 3w LEDs
Supposedly, this covers 12x12', optimally 9x9', so i figure 4x8 is a safe bet, but only time will tell for that.
I'm vegging under a Quantum 4bulb 4' t5 light, i'll be starting out with some AKxGod's gift clones my buddy grows.

My Medium: Roots organic potting soil, i was going to go with coco but from my experience soil is much more forgiving and houses a great colony for all the microbes and organisms that will be inhabiting my root structure

I just have a few questions about my nutrient plan, and would love any and all input from everyone

My Nutrients:
Veg-
Iguana grow juice(base nute)
Mother Earth Grow tea(along with base?)
Flower-
Iguana bloom juice(base nute)
Voodoo Juice(whole time through flower?)
Bud Candy(first 2 weeks)
Big Bud(weeks 1-4)
Nirvana(first 2 weeks?)
Overdrive(last 2 weeks before flush)

So, anybody got a problem with my plan before i go about starting this?
I'm also getting some teens that are ready to flower, but theyre in fox farms.... i'm thinking i'll transplant them into a 3 gallon smart pot and fill it up with roots organic...but im not sure how that will flow...will i have to veg them another 2 weeks? or should i veg more....theyre already about 2-3 ft....or do i just start my flowering schedule?

if its your first time growing i see you overferting the fuck out of your plants keep it simple the first time ........... plants dont really need much nutes if any during vegg and in flower is were it gets really easy to loose your whole crop........... get some flowertabs or somthing or just use one nute for the whole flower faze and mabe a booster at the end

well thats why i only have a simple veg solution with compost tea to help nutrient absortion, and i'd be using that solution from the start of fresh clones once its needed a couple weeks after theyre planted.
as for flowering, the voodoo juice helps with absortion and prevents/ knocks off salt buildup, and the bud candy/big bud are only used in small amounts during certain weeks to improve quality, and nirvana is made for root/bud development during the first flowering phase, and overdrive basically keeps the bud's growthspurt going after its stopped peaking.

yeah it all sounds real good i for one hope you grow some fucking monsters just be carfull its really easy to over feed and not catch a problem and loose plants keep that in mind and good luck..........

humboldt posted a great way of feeding.....

first day of veg you start with this rotation and keep it going till your flush at 2 weeks till the end:
Water:Rest:Feed:Rest:Water
So that rotation keeps going, one day water, then rest, then feed, then rest, then water. Pretty simple. BUT!!! DO NOT OVERWATER!!!
Bad juju.
During veg the plants may not use as much water, so, just trim the set down to this:
Water:Rest:Rest:Feed:Rest:Rest:Water
Works great for me, i use, currently, 3 gallon Maxipots. 10" square, and like 11" tall. So i hope that helped, pm me if you have anymore questions.

ok well watering dose not work like that at all............water when the top layer of dirt is dry for one............secondly you dont need any ferts if any the first month of vegg you could use a little every week or bi weekly the first month depending on the strain..........

since i'm using smart pots and i've already babysat a couple farms i know to only water when the top layer is dry an inch or so down(correct me if i'm wrong), as for feeding i figure feed with base nute once every 3 waters (feed;water;water) during heavy growth time and otherwise make it (feed;water;water;water) until the flowering cycle, but should i use the compost tea every water? or just when i feed?

yea if you cant read directions properly lol..and plants do need food in veg..people soak their rockwool in nutrient solution when there tryin to root plants..so from the start they need nutrients..some soil mixes have nutrients in them that last a 2-3 weeks depending on how much and often u water

u should go with coco..u mixed up hydro with coco..hydro is not forgiving but soil and coco are..its actually more likely u would mess up a soil grow then a coco grow, most noobs over water and coco is hard to overwater..soil turns to mud almost and coco just stays the same, the water would just run right thru it if you were over watering.

im talking about the first month of vegg............like not from clone but the first month of life after it sprouts you do not need nutes that's why seed starting soil has no nutes or very little..... and that nutrient solution rooting gel/powder dose just fine thats like killing a cow twice not necessary...

So i dont need the iguana grow juice unless i'm vegging longer than 3 weeks?

and this other thread has a pretty nice response from AN themselves, but i tried the AN calculator but it doesnt have iguana juice on there o_O

i've only seen soil used, mostly FFOF but i have hestitations about using it. i'm using smart pots, so they drain excellent so i wont say overwatering is not a fear, but its much easier to guesstimate and requires less watering than coco.

But if i were to add coco, how much should i ammend to my soil and would i need added perlite or dolamite?? or should i just get roots organic soilless mix with coco?
its really up to u but i recommend coco to all first time growers..it much easier and lots of people starting out like to water alot thats y overwatering is so common with noobs..and coco needs to be watered everyother day sometimes everyday if its really hot and dry..so u wont have that issue..thats y i said use coco

fuk no dont listen to that guy..1st figure out what type of medium ur ganna use..if u go with soil wait 7-10 days then start out with light feedings at about 20%strength..O YEA what kind of light are u using again??? and what are your vegging hours??

i havent planted yet, im doing it in about 11 hours give or take ;p
agh,...mo money mo money...whats the difference in the feeding ratios/frequency with added coco?
I'm growing under a 600w 3w LED, yea i'm one of those guys haha.

i'm about to get some gods gift X AK47(figure call it gods gun for $%!*$ and giggles), theyre in happy frog soil, 6" container, havent been nuted, im thinking transplant into a 2 gallon smart pot with soil and start a light feeding schedule?

ok im not a LED guy but im pretty sure when u grow under LED's your plants dont uptake as much nutrients as they should so go with a light feeding schedule..i treat coco like soil, except everytime u water your suppose to feed..in soil u feed then water then feed then water and so on..but coco u feed everytime..i honestly dont follow that though, once a week i water with just water and a soil conditioner to keep my medium free of bacteria's>> Yea im one of those guys haha i dont introduce any "beneficial" bacterias to my medium..OOOOWWW u got some gods gift x ak47? that sounds like a good ass cross..i got some Cherry Ak-47 in the 6th week of flower right now, looking lovely...so how big are your plants? just barely sprouted??
