I understand that part of it, but what makes the bud the way it is. super tight, super dense and a bad dankness to it. overall just some nasty gross ass weed. i think i would rather smoke a j of brickweed than beasters any day

To me the beasters we get in new england are nasty. most smell of mold and are so wet who knows what was done to them. although thats pretty much the same problem with schwag as well

thats kinda strange to me... The "beaster" where im from is nowhere near the crappiness of schwag or brick weed. It is just the average (not crappy but not killer) commercial sensimilla bud. Very tight and compact, light green and an average smoke. usually $40 for an 1/8th.

beasters is called such, or BC bud because it comes from British Columbia.

But what do the growers do to it to make it so compact, dense, and make it seem like there were no leaves at all?

I always tought beasters was just weed that had not been properly dried, usually decent quality but you buy a 1/4 and by the time its dry you are left with 5gs.

Around here beasters are the step between mids and headies. They're nothing amazing, but they fuck you up more than mids. If I had to describe it I'd say it's a decent strain that's grown outdoors normally. Headies=60-65/8th here :(, and beasters=40-45. Mids=20-30..

beasters>bricked anyday here on the east coast

When you think about it, i would rather not smoke either one to be honest. beasters or brick weed. glad i live in a chill area with lots of growers around. gotta love the mountains.

no one answered you question fully huh? i think alot of people are confused by what "beasters" is. (in my opinion atleast) beaters is prematurely harvested, and under cured(if at all) of a good strain, just the grower is not patent enough to grow quality

beasters smells like hay, i hear its from the chlorophyll. if your beasters is rock hard, and extra kiefy, it means the grower cut another corner, and that bud is contaminated with silica or something similar

ya bro, most people just said that its weed from BC, I understand that, but what I want to know is why no other weed looks, smells, feels, tastes like beasters. if its a strain then what strain is it? is it a growing method?

I just found this on another forum. This is exactly what I am talking about. Now if I could just find a pic to share.

Beasters - The Facts

Please do not buy, sell, smoke, share, give away, or consume beasters EVER!

Also known as: BC's - B.C. Bud - Beecers - Beastie's - Beast - Bistro's

Do not get "beasters" confused with high quality B.C. Bud, as beasters may sometimes be referred to incorrectly as "B.C. Bud".

* * *

What it is:
- Mass produced warehouse-grown chemically fed marijuana from British Columbia (B.C.)
- Beasters may look great to the untrained eye because of their appearance.
- The resin glands that get you high (trichomes) have been removed by the growers.
- The white appearence tricks many into thinking its high quality.
- Those white "crystals" are just the stalks that contain little to no active ingredients.
- It is imported by the ton from Canada to the U.S. because its cheap, widely available
- There is a high demand for it in the US (which has to change)
- The plants the are fed with lots of fertilizers that are never flushed
- The resulting bud has a chemmy taste and tons of unhealthy chemicals you don't want to inhale.

Characteristics:
- The effects usually make you feel lazy, cloudy, tired, groggy and burnt-out.
- The bud itself is usually very dense, and virtually odorless.
- Some claim the strain is M-39, a cheap and easy to grow variety of cannabis.

Please do not buy this stuff ever! - If it is all your dealer sells, stop buying from him/her!

People who grow this stuff have one thing in mind, profit. (These growers are the Wal-Mart's of pot dealers)

They could care less about how dangerous and unhealthy the final product is or what kinds of chemicals they spray on it

Please pay the extra money and buy organically grown cannabis that has not been keifed and still has lots of resin glands.
