Barneys Farm LSD - 2nd CFL Grow

Hey RIU. Im back for my second ever grow, and decided to do a grow journal of the Barneys Farm LSD as I wasn't able to find lots of info on this strain.
Setup:

Grow Room Dimensions: 31"x19"x56 1/2" closet.
Lighting: CFL 138w, 3 23w 6500k, 3 23w 5000k on bathroom vanity set with 3 splitters. Running 18/6
Soil: Botanicare Cocogro mixed lightly with perlite.
Nutes: Vegging - MG all purpose 24-8-16. Flowering - TBA
Water: Brita Filtered pH'd at 6.2-6.6
Temps:LIGHTS ON - 26.6C-28C or 79F-82F. LIGHTS OFF: 18.5C-20C or 65F-68F
Humidity: 25-35%RH


Started in a 18oz solo cup.

Week 2:
Hey RIU, back for week 2! Here are some updates over the past week, she seems to be doing great now. The Start was a bit slow, first day of feeding was day 11 at a 1/4 strength. Watered again today and now at 3 day water intervals from 5 at the start. Will be transplanting to a 1.5gallon pot day 15-16.

Hey there. Looking good. Just a note but I would already stick that sucker in a bigger pot. You'll get way faster growth out of your plants if you do. Anyways, good luck. We'll be watching.

Thanks man, and yeah I will be transplanting it tomorrow into a 1.5 gallon pot, and again 2 weeks before flowering into a 3.75gallon to finish her off. Stay tuned!

Week 3:

Hey RIU back for week 3! Its been a busy week, shes been transplanted (day15) into a 1.5 gallon pot. Earlier in the week I went to Walmart for a humidifier and now am running 50-60% RH. Ive noticed heavy root growth growing through the drainage holes so i made a DIY root blocker. Also noticed the slightest bit of light bleaching on her. Here are some pics!

Here i added screened fabric and hot glued it tightly over the drainage holes. Flushed as a test yesterday and works great!Here you can see the slight light bleaching, fixed this problem never progressed.

Week 4:

Back for week four RIU! This has been an interesting one.. I had a bit of pH issues earlier on this week, ended up causing her to start wilting heavily, but thats been fixed. Also, shes been topped on day 24. Shes recovered from that going great again !

Also this week I purchased a Hanna HI 98129 Waterproof pH/Conductivity/TDS Tester. And a new lineup of nutes for vegging and flowering, FINALLY away from the Miracle Gro! Picked up the General Organics Lineup : Bio Thrive, Cal/Mg+, Bio Weed, Bio Root, Bio Bud, Bio Marine, and Diamond Black (liquid humic acid).

Week 5:

Hey everyone! Heres the 5th and FINAL week of the vegetative stage for this girl. This week I got her transplanted into a 3.75 gallon pot from the 1.5 gallon and shes just exploded in growth! Also I have began to LST her allowing my light to enter the canopy.

Currently my lady is 9 inches tall and 14 inches wide, only topped once! Now for the goods, enjoy and as always leaves comments/feedback!

Hi there I myself have had to de scale and go on to CFL's, I'm just waiting on some Bubba Kush X G13 X Herijuana, maturing on its last weeks of bud in complete dark in the attic.

Just wanted to know are you going to keep the cool white spec of CFl's and add some red/warm spec CFL's with the cool/w, or just replace them all to warm/red.

At minute Ive got a 150 watt Cool white Enviro CFL, and a tiny 70 watt HPS (floodlight) and am running the lot, on 12/12. In there I have seedlings too (18-24 hrs light), to replace when I next harvest, I just take them out of the cabby when the lights go out and put them under another light till the morning when lights come on again.

I'm just in a debate weather to keep the HPS running as well, or to save it for after the stretch has stopped. I did make a mistake on my Bubba X and I left the cool white on for too long and it gave me a very leafy/stumpy plant, with reduced yield compared to normal.

Think I've just answered my own question don't you lol.
Gunna pull myself a seat for this one and whatch your girl blossum.

Hey man, for veg I upgraded as she got bigger, by the end of veg i had 255 actual watts of 5000/6500k CFLS and 11 bulbs total. For flowering I have 305 actual watts. Ive read a good mixed spectrum is around 3:1. Every 3 2700k add 1 5000k or 6500k to give a more natural spectrum. But for this run I only added 1 6500k and 1 5000k. And rest are 9 2700k bulbs. I would keep the HPS in there, buts its all up to you as the grower

Week 6:

Hey RIU! Back for week 6 and first week of flowering! Going into flower my LSD was 9 inches tall, and 18 inches wide.
She is currently sitting at 14 inches tall and 21 inches wide. Havent seen any female hairs yet, or male balls, but buds are starting to form now. Heres some pics

Looking good, you should start seeing pistils real soon. Think I'm going to veg mine a bit past 5 weeks.
