Barney's Farm Auto Little Cheese

Hi all,

I thought I'd stop in and post some pictures of my latest grow. It's Barney's Farm Auto Little Cheese and its about 2 weeks into flowering. Not entirely sure how much longer it has before it finishes, but I'd assume another 5-7 weeks. I began the seed around Jan 7th, so its been around now for a little over a month. I think it's most likely going to take longer than the 65-75 days that was advertised.

I'm growing under about 300 watts of CFL on 24/7. It's about two feet at the moment, not sure how much taller she will get, but she needs to stop growing upwards! BTW this is my first time growing an auto-flowering plant!

Yeah, I took a look at your thread, yours seems to growing much more outward than upward! Regardless though, I'm just praying that this one produces a decent yield. She has about 30-40 flowers or so on her.

Update as of 28/02/2012. She is almost finished, but I am going to let her go for another week. I have also decreased the light schedule from 24/7 to 20/7 (did this about 2.5 weeks ago).

Looks far from done. At least 3 weeks. Did you consider LST to control height and keep it short and busy? I just did this to my 23 day old auto. Your grow looks great.

Nope, I don't normally do any kind of training unless I'm letting it stay in the vegetative stage for at least 4 weeks. For me the auto flowering plants take off way fast into flowering to risk it. They seem so fragile. And thanks. (= Definitely a win for the CFLs.

I agree. A very long way from being done.

Here is an update as of 03/15/2012 (Day 68...)... Won't be long now until she is ready for harvest -- I'm going to be waiting till next week.

Hey man I'm growing one too. Just wondering how much the yield was? And what kind of nutes you used. Your plant looks amazing. Mine is only about 3 weeks. And it's starting to take off little by little.

Rayburn's is thesame strain and has been flowering for 3 weeks, looks almost like a replica to your three week image postings
However it seems from your images, between week 3 and 6, the amount of flowers/buds increased massively. Did you do anything in particular to trigger this or is this to be expected "naturally" under typical indoor grow conditions and for this strain?
Similar light set-up appears in use, but space may become an issue if it rapidly grows as yours (narrow width). This is Rayburn's first auto grow and would like advice as what to expect and if possible, any tips as to produce the fantastic looking results you achieved. Currently the size/mass of Rayburn's flowers is increasing very slowly at the start of flowering to what he is used to off previous grows . It is also taking much longer than anticipated? however this may be from incorrect information.

Particularly, any help on how long Rayburn should be leaving his girl to flower would be greatly appreciated, as no prior experience with auto flowering length.

Stats: (9 weeks into grow, just approaching 4 weeks since pre-flowers, 3 weeks since first main flower)
45cm tall
Approx 25 separate flowering sites
24/0 light/dark 200W CFL flowering spectrum light
Daily light water, minimal nutes as plant leaves look deep green (deeper green and fatter than in your circumstance - could this be phenotype variation?)
Temp - 23 to 27*C

Any help would be appreciated, Many thanks from the woods.
