I have a backyard spot that gets about 8 hrs of direct sunlight on sunny days. Would this be enough for a decent autoflower grow? I know indoor plants get at least 18hrs of light so I wasn't sure. Thanks for all replies.
I've got one. This plant is a Tangerine auto. I started it indoors on May 8, and took it outside on May 13. It gets direct sun from 11:30AM - 7:00PM. There are a couple of 20 minute windows earlier in the morning where they get some filtered sun, but the rest is shade.
Yeah general rule is 6 hours minimum if in the north bests a south facing slope if possible if in the southern hemisphere a northern slope the more the better your yard should be ok at 8 hours roughly full sun wether permitting
