hello, im new here and just starting a grow op. right now i have 4 bulbs, of which are new and were givin to me by a friend who was caught by his parents. i have 2 x 150W HPS and 2 x 400W HPS. so my questions are;
1. where should i find the ballast(s) for these? im looking at using both 150W and just selling the 400W. it needs an S55 ballast. im more then willing to work out a trade for the 400W bulbs for a ballast or something.
2. ive searched and im wondering if a 150W switchable ballast would be a good investment? because then i'd be able to use a MH for veg and the HPS for flowering
3. im in the process of designing and making a VERY-stealth grow box. any suggestions? debating on weather or not to use my nonworking stereo speaker, it's rough dementions are 1x1 and 3ft tall. (maybe good for one plant, which is what i'd use the one 150W bulb for.
4. ive heard of rotating lighting to make more compact buds, what do you think of putting the lighting at one upper corner and putting the plants on a rotating pedestil? or would that put to much stress on the plants?, i was only thinking like one full rotation per 12hr when flowering. maybe 2 rotos while in veg througout 24hr
5.ive heard 24hr cycle untill flowering and ive also herd to switch it to 18L/6D, whats the deal with this? benifits? disadvantages?
