balcony plant having some issues - any advice?

Background: I planted 1 bagseed in a pot of miracle grow potting mix approximately 3 months ago. It's been growing strong and healthy. I don't know if it's a male or female.

Some of the big fan leaves are starting to brown and yellow along the edges, and even a few spots. I've also noticed some little tiny (gnats?) flying in and around the plant. It also appears that the new growth appears to be a bit disformed and stunted. Not sure, I could just be paranoid. Never done this before.

From what I've read in this forum my guess is that the 90 day supply of nutrients in my miracle grow is about used up. After reviewing the deficiency guide, it could be deficient in potassium, magnesium, and boron - at least.

I've posted some pics and would appreciate any advice. I've read the various diagnostics on this site until my eyes went blurry, but am hoping for some real time diagnosis. Thanks!

The start of Potassium defficiency (pic3) in my opinion, though they don't look unhealthy by any means. It almost looks like happy tip burn but comes out a tad more necrotic and leaf edges will follow though I didnt really see many yet on the pics. Im one of the miracle grow nay sayers and have seen far worse looking pics from less fortunate victims, but your plant strain seems to enjoy it. You answered your own question if you gave them a 3 month slow release fert. and its been growing three months, matter of time before the plant will exhibit more than a few defeciencies. I'd go with a flush if you havent at this point and start them on some additional nutrients when watering, or, repotting in more ammended soil depending on your plants life expectancy. Nice view of a taller building in the background by the way, doesnt that stick out like a sore thumb to anyone on the other building top? :)

i think its time to use new nutes since the ones in your soil are now used up

Thanks for the input! Would you guys recommend a basic NPK type nute? Any suggestions as to a particular brand? I've loved not having to mess with nutes until now, and am not looking forward to the possible issues with nute burn, etc. that I've seen many posters complain of. Hah, yeah that's a church next door. They rarely go on the roof, tho. I can easily move the plant.

Another question: Since this is outdoors, I guess I'm waiting until about September - October time frame to harvest? (Assuming this is a female).

I thought I'd try bumping this up. Can anyone recommend a decent all-in-one type fertilizer I can use, now that my 3 month supply of nutes in my miracle grow is used up? I have other miracle grow fertilizers, (the green powder stuff and the fish emulsion) but not sure if I want to use those. I'd like to avoid the nute burn problem.
