I have recently bought a ro unit it brings my 500 ppm tap water to 40 ppm but I need to know the best way to buffer my water to sort my ph out
Iv heard 3 options up to now add 50-100 ppm of calmag, use ph up to bring it to 10 then down to 6 or add 20% tap water dose the calmag trick work as I need to add calmag soon anyways

My tap is around 500 ppm. My Costco RO filter gets it to around 50 ppm. I'm in Southern California. Terrible water. Kills plants.
