i read about some people pick a bud off their plant and put it in the oven to quick dry it ...

How long should the bud be put in the oven and at what temperature ???

I've also read that u can also do it in the microwave too ...

If I had to choose.. I would go microwave.. low power.. 5 seconds at a time for however long it takes..

There are other ways to microwave it better than just dropping it in there.. do some research..

I've tried the oven and microwave. Neither worked well for me. By the time bud was dry enough to smoke, it was brownish...like vaporised bud. Here are 2 methods that have worked for me:
1) Use your vaporizer if you have one. Cut up the wet bud, and let it dry on a tray for an hour or so. Vape the bud slowly on low temp at first. When you start to get vapor, crank the temp up to normal and enjoy.
2) Leave the bud on a piece of aluminum foil on top of your water heater (or other warm spot) overnight. Cut the bud up into smaller bits for quicker drying.

I have not tried it, but I read in Jorge Cervantes' MJ Bible that you can freeze dry bud using dry ice. Basically, just put some dry ice over your bud, seal the container (poke a hole in the lid to exhaust excess gas). When the dry ice is melted, your bud should be dry.

I agree with the Vaporizer method (if you've got one) but theres nothing better then letting them dry natrually have patience its worth it :bigjoint:

I would suggest not to quick dry your buds, if you mess up by drying them to much game over, just let them dry for 7-10days and then cure, not along time at all.

I've done it this way before, it's rough but it works... Take a bud (preferably a lower one), cut it up real fin,e and spread it out on some foil. Then, carefully put this on top of a CFL and it will be dry enough to smoke in like an hour. Oh, and stirring it around every ten minutes or so seems to help dry it faster and keeps it from scorching.

just stick near a fan and it will dry out plenty quick, and you won't have to worry about losing anything to the heat before you smoke it

avoid microwaves at all costs
