bad soil and early topping turned seedling into a dayglo mutant zombie

I guess uploading those photos deleted my text. So.. apparently topping above the 2nd node while a plant is very young is a bad idea. Also I used soil that already had time released nutes in it and probably used too much light on such a small plant. I have 5 seedlings in a box with 5 CFLs going.. Live and learn I guess, never knew you could turn plants into zombies like this though. Since there is new growth I'll wait and see if any recovery is possibe. I'm piecing together a grow setup and wanted to trial and error some bagseed before I fuck up and kill some expensive seeds. What have I found out? Cannabis is a very sensitive plant.

It looks like your secondary branches are starting to push out some growth though. Which is what you want to happen. I generally wait til they're on the 5th node and starting the 6th before I do any topping. They usually bounce right into doing their thing after a day or 2. In that time you'll see the little branches flare out and start to grow.
But I HAVE done it between 4 and 5 right when the secondary branches first started to show themselves. They took off after about 4 days or so like normal. They were just smaller. Which was a good thing considering the space and setup.
I say just wait it out.
As far as time release nutes go it receives a lot of hate. Just go light on your waterings to be on the safe side.
