When im germinating seeds, sometimes some grow mold. are those seeds no good, should i eliminate them from my wet paper towel in a bag method? thanks in advance.

mold wouldnt have anything to do with the seeds, maybe put them somewhere thats a little darker? the seeds should be germinating within 24-72 hours tops and should not have time to grow mold.

yea look at my simple way to germ seeds in my sig. The main thing with doing it with the paper towel method is to keep it moist but not to over saturated and keep it very dark and in a zip lock to keep the humidity very high and in 1 to 2 days you should have a sprout and like the previous poster said, in that time frame mold cant grow if you are doing it correctly.

Something here is not right. If you try this method again. I'd get a new bag & paper towel!
Here you tried putting your seeds in warm water, covering, putting in a dark, warm place, than
checking 24 to 72 hours. Than just plant them, root down in your soil or what ever.

+rep i think my paper towel was too wet and the hollowed out book i use gets ight. wringing out the towel reminded me of how i used to do it. gonna put it in a black bag in the upper ventilation area of my speaker, cheg sig if you wanna see its on the first page. waiting time. im gonna put some in coco starters once they germ, anyone have experience or pointers on that?
