I think it is a femal but not 100% positive.

i see no signs of sex in that pic. you might be seeing female preflowers but if so they are not noticable in the pic.

Id say its female, if it were male sings of tiny sacs would appear and female pistils take longer to show, how old is?

just wait, when the gender is showing, its impossible to get it wrong. one are balls. the other are fuzzy looking white hairs (pistils) that reach up to an inch and a half.
