so after my first ever attempt at growing i was deeply disappointed, so try try again.
here is my short stuff blue himalaya at about 5 weeks old from seed, i tried out a little lst during veg and got her on an 18/6 light schedule, she's a little taller than i expected and tricombs have just started forming.
basically i'm just wanting to know if everything looks normal and if not what am i doing wrong. help much appreciated. P6120155.jpgP6120157.jpg

Well, first of all, i don't think "tricombs" a.k.a. trichomes are what you're seeing but simply the pistals of a flowering female...the trichomes you'll begin to see later on in flower...but from the pix, the plant looks healthy and the lst seems to have opened up some nice areas for buds to develop. And looks nice and tall for 5 weeks; what's the height anyway? What's the type of lighting and watering/fert schedule (if any) you're using?

75-125w of cfl
heavy nutes that consist mostly of (N)
really dark green leaves is a heavy abundance of (N)
it's really stretched so guessing your light is about 18" from the plant

Looking good so far buddy! Awesome for only your second grow! Keep it up and you should be set in a few weeks! Maybe try to get your lights a little closer, but other than that you're looking good. What kind of temps are you seeing?
 
its all basic and cheap. two 130w cfl's and a 50w led. compost..... a browny black colour.. lol no nutes used yet as compost said it had 6 weeks of plant feed in it. and no ventilation as its just sitting in my closet....
i'm not a pro but i think i know what pistols are and i think i know what trichomes are even if i cant spell it.......
looks like little cristals on the leaves next to the bud sights. no?
