Az outdoor grow in October

greetings everyone happy 420 I have a few questions any that can help would highly appreciated.. so I'm in az and was wondering if I can start planting in october there is onky about 11 or 12 hours of sunlight would it be possible to still start them this late 8n the season .... we will go down to like 10.5 hrs of natural sunlight in November December. What would happen if I start them now ... I would plant in pots and using soil and only natural sunlight

Not a 100% sure here but my best guess would be the same that happens when you start a plant indoors and do 12/12 immediately. You will have a light veg time and then the plant will start flowering very quickly. There are quite a few growers on this site and around that do 12/12 from seed. I’m sure someone will answer with a definite soon enough but my initial thought would be that if you have extra seeds and just want to go through winter, why not. The only real concern would be the temp differences between day and night

Well out winter is super mild it only reaches at about 40 to 45 at night at like low 50 55 during the day
