Do peoples avatars alter your perception of them.

Does it alter the way you read there text?

Some of them do, yours make me think that you like to touch girls private parts which is cool by me. Arrid seems like one fugly dude....lol. FDDs makes me think of a very patriotic proud american, with a sense of humor. Videoman's make me think of a wizard, which he is in a way. Cidly's boob avatar makes me want to meet the girl with the boobs. Lynchburgbull makes me think Gary Busey....etc

Say if you read someones post and there was an aggressive looking black dude in it, then the guy posting came across as being a strong personality would this alter your perception.

yea when i first came to the site fdd told me my avatar pissed him off..its changed a few times since then but i usually dont pay that much attention to them.

got to get ur point accross. i think it identifys your personality.


mine is simple i love dank so i got a leaf that spins and i look at it for hours and try to gues houw many times it spins in a minute my appox answer is 76 if you were wondering LOL

I guess it might, but I'm not sure. The pirateguy has an avatar like you described but I can't say that it affected me, I've had a couple nice long PMs with him. I guess I would have to say yes though, I'm human and certain things intimidate me. Like copwhite, not his avatar but the screen name makes me scared of him.

1 full rotation was 2 seconds....you were close....lol

1 second for a 180 deg spin
2 for a full 360 spin

so it must do 30 full 360 spins in a min or 60 180 deg half spins

Now how many times per minute does that hand squeeze the girl's you know what?

A bit of both

my guy is Ashe from the Evil Dead movies, you know Bruce Campbell...he's great I had a chance to meet him and he is really nice and seemed very generous with his time. Maybe a B actor but an A+ as a person.

OK I'll stop jacking your thread now.....

I preferred 3 because it didnt take its self so seriously.

It doesn't really change the way I read things, but it does give me a perception of the person. For example: When TheConstantGardener had that god like avatar, I pictured him to be a very spiritual old man, now he has that freaky looking cat, so my perception has changed to just an average Joe with a sense of humor.

What about major tokes avatar, he has a snoop dog, ever think its snoop your talking to.

lol don't think he'd have the time to ever come on ere. wouls be funny tho....
