So my goal this summer is to pinpoint the best times to plant to pull 2 rounds rounds outdoors.
So I got a dozen Mnt. Gushmore seeds from happybirdseed that I'm gonna stagger plant. Listed seed to harvest time is 80-90days and my limit is 4 plants. I'm gonna drop the first bean right around the equinox in 3 weeks, and space the first 4 21days apart. The first 2 will be started inside in a sunny windows with some supplemental lights and placed under a small green house in the garden bed at first sign of flowers. At the end of the year I will be comparing the combinations of results
Plant 1+5
Plants 2+6
Plants 3+7
4+8
5+9
If I'm able to keep to the 21 day spacing the 10th been would be dropped at the very start of September idk how much later I'm willing to bother starting one but we will keep an eye on the Forcast and shit they're $2 seeds let's have some fun
Outdoor grows are done at my mom's house so I'm not particularly hands on but that's kinda the point of outdoor grows, I know they will get watered and I'll be notified if something drastic happens
Predictions, tips, criticism, welcome
Almost positive Plants 3-5 will preform the best individually being planted early may, late may, early-mid june. So my awnser will come down to my ability to provide adequate light/feed in spring compared to the detriment of heat stress compared to the girls who sprout in midsummer heat

First bean dropped yesterday. Kinda cheating starting this one at my house, my mom dose not have equipment for indoor grows just some nice sunny windows. But if this works well no reason why it's not they way I'll get her done on the annual in the future

I don't think my first drop germinate. I throw it in a cup of soil wendsday and it still has not sprouted. I drop another in the glass and it's clearly cracked put has not put on much of a tail yet

2 weeks in, looks like we got good transplant weather coming up, warm on Thursday and Saturday and rain on Friday, this girl will go to my mom's outside to harden on wendsday and go in the ground on Saturday. Drop next been next week

Didn't make it out to mom's til today. She short but plenty bushy, little bit burnt bc I started her straight to a full dose of feed after about day 10 and been blasting her with light. Looks like we have a few cold over nights coming up so he can harden in the green house and go in the bed on wendsday.
Pics of the cheap houses and in ground beds that will be used for this project.

Second seed drop. The 3rd will probably get planted straight in the ground, all depends on the Forcast the 1st week of may

Transplant day.
Rich black soil
Few inches growth past few days
Healthy full root ball
Ready trellis
