Autoflowers and sts. My attempt to self a single plant to get seeds.

This is my first time attempting to make my own autoflower seeds with sts. And I think I messed up. I sprayed my entire plant with sts the first sign of pistils. I am about four sprays in tomorrow will make five. My question is was I supposed to only spray part of the plant in order for it to pollinate itself? I attached a pic of how it looks now. All help appreciated. If anyone has experience with how I did it, your results from your project are also welcome. thanks

Either approach would work. Spray whole plant, or just a branch.

It looks like it worked fine. Lots of pollen sacks visible.

Thank you for your response. I am hoping for lots of seeds from this one plant and thought I messed it up by spraying the entire plant with sts because a lot of ppl say just spray one branch or part of the plant.

The reason people prefer to spray only one branch, is so that they can smoke the rest of the plant. You cant smoke or ingest any of the plant material that was sprayed with sts.

Also, a fully seeded plant will easily produce hundreds, large plants will produce thousands of seeds. For me, seeding one small branch is more than enough. I can get an easy 60-80 seeds from a single branch.

Next time spray only one branch. It gives you more control and options. You can cut the branch off when its ripe, collect the pollen, and brush the pollen onto a few buds. This way you're whole plant wont be seeded, and you will have flower to smoke. One small seeded branch is all you really need, unless your planning to grow out hundreds of plants, or sell the extra seeds.

Ahhh. I see. Don’t care for the flower and the more seeds the better in my case. Thanks again bro
