Depends on where you are- if it doesnt get cold where you live, and all year outdoor autoflower is possible. If you are serious about growing, autoflower will do little but hold you back from tru production potential. Time is money and the 3 months you will invest in the autoflower would put you about one month away from harvest with an indica or indica/sativa mix. The autoflowers are neat, but outside of their novelty provide little redeeming value. They only way to perpetuate is with pollination, whereas with a "regular" plant cloning removes any doubt of the plant's sex, and once the clones have rooted you can harvest the quicker strains after 10 weeks (2 for veg, 8 for flower). Don't get me wrong, it is fine to grow an autoflower, but if you are serious about growing it will save you a lot of time if you avoid them.
