Auto Northern Lights - 4 weeks and still no preflowers?

Well I've been growing my Auto Northern lights for 4 weeks now and it still isn't even showing preflowers. I have a blue mystic that broke soil at the same time and it had preflowers at 2 and a half weeks and showed sex at 3.

From what I've read it should only take around 3 weeks for this strain to show sex and I'm not even seeing preflowers. Should I just sit back and wait for it to flower? Or is my seed not autoflowering for some reason?

If this thing doesn't autoflower then I figure vegging it until my blue mystic is finished would be the best solution? Would switching to 12/12 now maybe make it flower? What effect will this have on the auto blue mystic who is already flowering?

If it is a true auto then it will start flowering very soon.

its its a true auto it should of been started to flower...you havent switchd to 12/12 have you? maybe try, i know for auto's the best is 18/6 or 20/4 but auto's also show sex afer 2-3 weeks and begin to flower...idk maybe you stunted the plant earlier

If these are Nirvana autos then I recently learned that they take 3 to 5 weeks to start flowering, which is a little longer than most autos. This info came from Nirvana themselves.

ah.. yeah they're nirvana autos. that sucks...

I actually think today the northern lights is showing the very first sign of preflowers, still too early to determine whether its a female or a dude yet though.

How are you gettin on with these nirvana NL auto's? I'm 12 days from seed and i am very impressed so far.

yea check out my grow, only got a few up atm, i've misplace my charger for my camera

Yeah Nirvana autos arent autos most times dude. I would switch to 12/12.
