auto lights time

Old school outdoor here. Used hid's to start before going outside
Retired and downsized and have a small closet I'm going to try some autos in to get started inside.
Got good LEDs, timers, fans, soil ,seeds, etc all good.
My lights are good for 4x4 but I'm about 3x3.
How many hrs per day should I run these? Thanx a bunch

Are u running anything else beside the autos ? I've ran under 12/12 and 18/6. They both will work . But I suggest 18/6 if u aren't flowing photoperiod plants in the same tent .

20/4 is popular but people run anything from 24 hrs/day to12 or less.

I go 24 hours for the first few weeks then 20/4. I wouldn’t go less than 18.
