Auto Flowers

Ok i just started a new grow!! Its my first time with auto flowers. I soaked seeds over night and had tiny tap roots. I planted them in 4 gallon pots of fox farm ocean forest with extra perlite in the middle and bottom and root enhancer. Is ocean forest too hot?

I didnt think about soil being too hot until i already popped seeds in. I usually just use ffof for my photos and dont need to feed until pretty much flowering

Im assuming my soil is gonna fry the little girls. I will wait 5 days and retry i guess

I wouldn't assume anything. I've planted seeds directly into FFOF. It might be a little hot at first but I've never had a seedling die because of it and after a couple weeks they've always been just fine.

You could always just use a starter mix in a solo for a bit - sandbox them in that to create a healthy transplant then move to full FF container.

Direct seed to pot :
Some strains may get some nute burn from direct planting but it usually will pass as plant becomes accustomed.

Pretty sure cannabis isn’t the only plant that may find mix a little hot.

Had cherry tomatoes turn into habaneros
