Hey guys well since being on this site it has made go from being "the stoner that always talks about how canabis should be made legal" to actually wanting to do something about it.

I have written to Senators Saxby Chambliss & Johnny Isakson, but have yet to hear back from them regarding the decriminalization of canabis as a medically prescribed drug.

I am calling ALL GA residents that are in favor for the medical use of the plant to make your voice heard. Please help me (I am still learning about all the right ways of getting things done concerning politics) Our senators will be up for Election, and we HAVE to let them know where we stand on this issue.

I would love any, and all guidance to existing groups, petitions I might not have signed, and all other ways to get me my MEDICINE. Thanks so much and I love you all.

I dont know much about politics and dont get much into it but i will ask around.
Neva seen petitions round my way for mmj.

There was a link on norml.org about the bill ron paul is trying to pass where you can write your local senator about it by just filling out some stuff. I'm from GA, and I did that one.

According to Marijuana Law Reform - NORML, the online response to the first article has been impressive, so much so that the ONDCP put out the second article as a rebuttal. The third is a note from Congressperson Lacy Clay. Read 'em all and post a polite response; let's keep this ball rolling!

And just a word about how we can all help bring a little extra credibility to the discussion: Polite, friendly comments are more likely to have an impact than comments with profanity or ridicule. I think it was Mahatma Ghandi who said, "First they ignore us. Then they laugh at us. Then they fight us. Then we win." When we swear, they laugh. When we stick to the point, they fight. When we keep it polite, we win.
