Like many I order all my seeds from Attitude Seedbank. It's easily the best value/variety of seeds anywhere, and I completely swear by them.

Having said that, I'm curious as to how many people actually go with the Guaranteed Stealth Shipping that Attitude offers on all orders?

I always go with it, primarily because of the tracking number, although having the peace of mind that in case they don't show in 21 days, Attitude will replace them, is nice as well.

I usually get my seeds in a reasonable amount of time, but the tracking information from the USPS is absolute garbage. It's actually worse now then it was in previous years. There is never any timely updating of where the package is in the U.S. The UK's Royal Mail provides a much more detailed and timely updating of packages then the USPS.

And people wonder why the U.S. Postal system is on the verge of economic collapse.

There used to be a daily update on USPS's tracking page, that would show a package went through whatever customs it goes in relation to your geographic location, then it would show a few cities the package would travel after customs.

It was nice, because you could sort of time-out when you should get your package, and feel assured things were working like they should.

My latest Attitude order says it's been processed through the Los Angeles ISC for over a week now. That's what's getting me: if a package has been 'processed through' wouldn't that mean it went through customs?

If it 'processed through' Customs, you'd think it'd be a matter of days when the package should be delivered.

i dont think you are getting that package, i ordered from attitude and it said in reasonable amount of time that my seeds were sent to chicago(maybe 3 days). after that my seeds were stuck there and all the shipping said was that they were processed in chicago and being prepared to be sent out. that was saturday the 24th since then i heard nothing i assume they are lost...

I've ordered twice now from the 'tude. The first order was "crush proof tin" and NO stealth shipping. Got my beans in 21 days to the U.S.
Second order was "crush proof tin" with the stealth shipping (the mug). Got my beans in 11 days.

Now I don't know if that's coincidental or not, but I sure like the 11 days better. I should also note that "stealth" was sort of laughable since they were openly packaged.

Was thinking I would try to save the $ next time and NOT do the stealth. It costs as much as a pick and mix seed all by itself.

I'm not worried about getting the seeds....they'll come; I'm patient enough to wait it out. My beef is with the USPS and their lack of caring to update the tracking info. Like I've said, I've ordered from Attitude half-a-dozen times and they always arrive within 2 weeks.

I've been thinking the same thing. If the only two reasons you get the guaranteed shipping are for the tracking number and knowing if the seeds don't arrive in 21 days, that Attitude will replace them, I'm left to wonder if the extra $10 is worth it.

That's the thing: the stealth isn't that stealth, so if the package is opened, the seeds are gonna be seized. If you spend a couple hundred $$$ on seeds, knowing they'll be replaced is a nice chip in your pocket to have.

Some companies don't even offer the guaranteed shipping, but do a MUCH better job with stealth packaging.

Some companies, like CastleSeedBank ( http://www.castle-marijuana-seeds.com/ ), build the guaranteed shipping AND tracking info into the final price, as long as you spend 50 Pounds (about $75-$80, depending on conversion rates).

I kinda wish Attitude would take that approach. If you're spending $100+ on seeds (which I assume many people do when they order) you should feel assured that if the seeds get seized or are lost/stolen, they'll be replaced free of charge WITHOUT spending additional money to guarantee it.

With something as delicate and illegal as marijuana seeds, you'd think a company would help assume a little more risk when a customer orders their products and has a problem with delivery.

God knows with the profit margins Attitude Seed Bank is making on a single seed (NYC Diesel is going for over $30/seed), they could afford to do it.

Let me tell ya this lol. I use it EVERYTIME! Now I ordered ALOT...I MEAN ALOT in the past, say 8 orders alone last year and about the same this year, THIS YEAR however was my first time losing a package needless to say I am happy I got the guaranteed shipping lol! YOU NEVER KNOW when it may come in handy, why risk it ya know?

i dont know about that... i like getting a nice t-shirt and a gaurantee.....not a rich man... sleep better definitely.
and what you are saying is great.. if all people were as honest as you, people would abuse that privilege. im a firm believer in you get what you pay for.

Plus lately my orders for some reason have been going through ISC Chicago and as we all know that place SUCKS! Heres to hoping and praying my current order does not go there ( knocks on wood ) plus the T-Shirts are bad ass dude, gives me some nice summer wear.

Chicago is notorious for customs doing a good job. I had some seeds confiscated years ago and the initial drop on U.S. soil was Ohara. Hope its not the case for you.

Jesus christ brothers! This is my LAST order I need to strat my breeding project. I hope it does not go through chicago :( My last 2 did and all went well but I HATE THAT PLACE!!!!

I wonder what it is about Chicago ISC that makes them so much better than the other ISC facilities...I am CONVINCED someone there orders seeds and knows what kind of packages to look for and steals our shit!

Yeah, I guess this is why I always pony up, and get the guaranteed shipping. So when your order didn't come, did you have any problems having Attitude replace it? I've wondered about that process, thankfully never needing it so far.

Yeah, peace of mind is definitely nice to have. Just wish it wasn't an additional fee for it. Like I said, lots of companies guarantee their shipments WITHOUT you paying any extra. The T-shirt is cool, but the last few I've received, I've not felt confident walking around in public with...lol. Pot leafs and the words 'marijuana' draw too much negative attention, which i don't need. Never wanted a coffee mug or fanny pack either....haha.

When my order didnt arrive I emailed them after 21 days and they combined it with my next order, came with no problem.

Actually the tracking updating showed today its cleared customs and the USPS in LA, and is on its way. Should be two more days max.

Lots of alarmist posts that aren't necessary, although i guess that's what qualifies as helpful and informative postings these days.

If you don't have anything constructive to add, please don't bother posting....you're not clever or amusing in the least.

And i had the crap scared out of me, because i saw the red tape all over my package, that said it had been opened by customs.
But the seeds were still inside, a professionally looking folded t-shirt.
so even when customs opened my package. i got my order. no problems.

I would have no problem paying for it.
i dont look at it as if im paying tons extra.
i look at it as i get to buy a $10 t-shirt and this shipping is free.

The T-shirt is worth it dude, every time I order beans I always get the T-shirt .. Customs see's a shirt and they move right along.
